The province of Phitsanulok covers some 10584,5 sq.km to 377 km in the North of Bangkok.Phitsanulok is located on the geographical one and administrative line linking the areas of North and the Center.
Phitsanulok was the birthplace of king Naresuan, Ghent d' Ayuthaya (reigne: 1590 - 1605) and of his/her brother Prince Ekathosarot.

Wat Phra If Rattana Mahathat its monastery called by the inhabitants "Wat Yai" is the most important monastery of Phitsanulok, the house of famous Phra Buddha Chinnarat.Il localised with the foot of the Naresuan bridge of is quoted with with dimensions of the river.Le monastery was built with the reigne of Phra Maha Thamma Racha I (Phraya Lithai) in 1357.Le Phra Buddha Chinnarat is looked like the most beautiful image of Buddha in Thailand.
