Located between Phuket and Krabi, on the coast of the golf of Andaman, Phang Nga is known for its relief surprising with green hills by its vegetation.
On the shore, in the neighbourhoods of the river extends a mangrove, zone where the sea mixes with fresh water of the river and where the trees are raised by their roots in form of umbrella.
The day of the visit, time was not sunny and mistier, like often in these regions.

The bay of Phang Nga, inheritance of humanity, kingdom of jonques to the heavy belly, is a site comparable with bay of Halong in Vietnam, with imposing landscapes and an always calm sea.
The arrival in bay of Phang Nga is fantastic: 300 pitons limestones with the strange forms rise with the top of a sea to the jade reflections, smooth like a lacquer of China.
Certain pitons make more than 100 meters height and water eroded the base, digging caves and tunnels with the roughcast ceilings of stalactites.
Another of these pitons, the "nail" owes its celebrity to James Bond (the man with the gold guns, film with Roger Moore, turned in 1974) and became for tourism: the island of James Jump.
